Welcome to Tayyib Meals ("we," "us," "our"), a home-style halal meal delivery service preparing and delivering fresh meals across Toronto and the Greater Toronto Area. By ordering from us or using our website, you agree to these Terms and Conditions ("Terms"), which set out your rights and responsibilities as a customer.
Scope of Services
Tayyib Meals prepares and delivers fresh, home-style meals on a weekly basis. While we work hard to deliver within our stated windows, delivery times are estimates based on our normal operations and logistics, and can be affected by traffic, weather, courier availability, or other factors outside our control. Customers should treat delivery timelines as general expectations rather than fixed guarantees.
Customer Eligibility
Our service is open to anyone with the legal capacity to authorize a payment and receive a delivery at a valid address within our service area. There's no minimum age requirement beyond the ability to complete an order, make payment, and be present to receive it. By placing an order, you confirm you're eligible to do so and take responsibility for the order once it's delivered to the address provided.
Orders, Payments, and Refund Policies
Orders can be placed through our website using secure payment methods, or through WhatsApp, which we treat as an equal ordering channel. All orders must be confirmed by our Friday cutoff for delivery the following Monday. Package prices are shown as a total for the week and reflect everything included in that package. Changes to an order can be made before the cutoff by messaging us through the website or WhatsApp. Refund requests are reviewed on a case by case basis and are not automatically guaranteed, with final decisions resting with our team. Delivery Practices and Service Area Limitations
We deliver across a confirmed list of areas in the Greater Toronto Area, with delivery fees that vary by location. We reserve the right to decline or pause delivery to a particular area if we determine, at our discretion, that fulfilling an order there isn't feasible or safe. We aim to honor delivery dates agreed at the time of order, but we're not responsible for delays caused by third-party couriers, weather, or other circumstances beyond our control. Customers are expected to be available to receive their delivery, and we're not responsible for meals left unattended if no one is present to receive them.
Product Information and Allergen Awareness
Each meal is prepared fresh and portioned to at least 500 grams. Our menu rotates regularly, so the same dish won't repeat for six weeks. Ingredients and menu items may change from week to week depending on availability. While we take care in how our meals are prepared, we can't guarantee against cross-contact with allergens, as this is an inherent risk in any food preparation environment. Customers with allergies or dietary restrictions should reach out to us before ordering and consult a healthcare provider where needed.
Subscription Services and Terms
Our packages are set up as recurring weekly subscriptions through Stripe, automatically renewing each week ahead of the Friday cutoff for delivery the following Monday. Customers retain the flexibility to skip an upcoming week, pause their subscription, or cancel at any time, provided the request is made before the cutoff by contacting us through the website or WhatsApp. We may offer promotional pricing on certain packages from time to time, but these are not guaranteed and may change based on business considerations. All changes to a subscription are subject to the same cutoff and modification guidelines that apply to standard orders.
User Conduct and Anti-Fraud Provisions
Tayyib Meals maintains a zero tolerance policy toward fraudulent activity, including payment fraud, order manipulation, refund abuse, or harassment directed at our team. We reserve the right to monitor and investigate any activity that threatens the integrity of our service or the safety of our staff. Violations may result in immediate termination of service and further action where appropriate.
Intellectual Property Rights
All intellectual property associated with Tayyib Meals, including our name, logo, and branding elements, is protected under applicable intellectual property laws. Unauthorized use, reproduction, or distribution of any of these materials is not permitted without our written consent.
Limitation of Liability
Tayyib Meals limits its liability for issues arising from the use of our service, including delivery delays caused by third-party logistics, allergen cross-contact, spoilage resulting from customer absence at the time of delivery, inaccuracies in ingredient information, service interruptions caused by factors beyond our control, and adverse reactions arising from consumption of our meals. To the extent permitted by law, we're not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of our service or products.
Amendments and Modifications to Terms
Tayyib Meals reserves the right to modify these Terms at any time, whether due to changes in legal requirements, operational adjustments, or shifts in our service. Customers will be notified of significant changes through email, WhatsApp, or announcements on our website. Continued use of our service after such changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
